Who We Serve

ASBI's mission is to offer behavior analytic services without requiring a diagnosis and simply based on child and family need. Primarily, we build and shape skills to support our clients' interests, social health, communication, daily living, executive functioning, self-regulation, their school and community participation, and improve quality of life where is most meaningful to them.

The dosage and mode of services are individualized and determined based on each client's current skill repertoire and areas of need. Caregiver trainings are designed to provide parents and families with the tools to confidently support their children with faded clinician support.

*Service Settings: In-Home, School, Tele-health

Our Values.

Safety. The client's safety always comes first. Prior to an assessment, the clinician will recommend and use environmental arrangements to ensure the space is without risk, allowing the client to explore the enriched environment curiously and independently.

Assent. Assent is needed throughout the treatment process and not just at the outset. When a client chooses therapy (verbally or nonverbally) and assents to teaching moments, skills are shaped with strategies that communicate respect to the client and their person. We include clients in setting goals and participating within the therapeutic context as much as they desire and are able to, to be sure their voice is heard.

Relationship-building. Trust is a key component in a therapeutic relationship, which inspires cooperation and the sharing of power between therapist and client. As children are asked to persist in the presence of challenges, quality reinforcement is necessary in maintaining rapport.
